LVFD Burn Permits

Burn permits in Latir Fire District are free and available from Chief jona or Deputy Chief Chris. A permits is required for burning slash; buring trash is not allowed in Taos County. Download a burn permit form here or call 586-0645.

Volunteer Opportunities - How You Can Help

Yes, YOU can volunteer with LVFD! There are all kinds of jobs with your VOLUNTEER fire department. Yes, you can be a firefighter or EMS responder AND we need people to do data entry, truck maintenance, join the support team and more! It’s all free; we provide training and equipment.
